Margins
December 4, 2008

If you’re under the gun and feeling heaviness in your time and schedule, why not relieve the pressure with margin? “Margins,” according to my friend Chris Hodges, is “the space between ourselves and our limits” end quote. If you live your life with narrow margins, you’ll have fewer options.

Proverbs 21:20 says “in the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but a foolish man devours all he has.” That’s the description of a man with margin and another man with no margin. Make sure that there’s a place between you and your limits.

I’m John Hull. We've put together a devotional book of Leadership Moment spots called "365 Inspirational Thoughts for the Leader's Year". To find out how you can receive your copy before the New Year begins, click here.

This Christmas, how will your year-end giving change due to the economic status of our country?

None. I will give as much as I've given in years past.
I will give slightly less.
I will give significantly less.
I will give more.
I cannot afford to give this year.
