Do you have people at work or perhaps a competitor that just distracts you? Nehemiah had to contend with distracters who just seemed to love to torment him and do all they could, seemingly, to interfere with his goal to accomplish the will of God for his life. One such distracter was named Sanballat.

This man would show up at the wall of Jerusalem construction site mocking and ridiculing the workers. Then, he started to spread fear and doubt and then he got political. But all the while, Nehemiah just kept his team building the wall. There may be distractions in your life right now, but remember, if God has called you to do something, do it! Don’t get distracted!
